What You Will Learn in This Program

  • Exploration of philosophy and scientific concepts, ethics and research ethics in relation to Pancasila, research management, academic life, ways of thinking, and scientific publication.
  • Presentation of literature reviews or conceptual analyses on issues outside the dissertation but aligned with each student’s research interest.
  • Development of individual research work, including dissertation proposal writing, proposal seminar, comprehensive examination, research seminar, and dissertation/final project defense.
  • Courses led by the Promoter Team focusing on scientific development in agriculture, particularly emerging trends and issues in agribusiness marketing.
  • Integrative study of agricultural business management, balancing commercial objectives (profit optimization) with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Covering finance, human resources, technology, marketing, and operations management with a sustainability-driven approach.
  • Application of decision analysis to real-world agribusiness problems through identification, evaluation, and implementation of optimal decision-making actions.
  • In-depth exploration of strategic and tactical marketing approaches for agricultural products, incorporating the latest marketing concepts and technological innovations.
  • Discussion of selected topics from reputable national and international publications (books and journals) from the last 5–10 years, emphasizing theoretical approaches, results analysis, policy implications, production efficiency, demand forecasting, market analysis, as well as risk and uncertainty.

Admission Requirements

A certified copy of a Master’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited program.

Official academic transcript showing Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from the Master’s program (or equivalent).

Accreditation certificate of the Master’s program:

1. Proven by a scan or screenshot of the accreditation certificate from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT/LAM-PTKes) website, valid at the time of application.

2. For programs in the process of accreditation renewal, proof of submission/receipt to BAN-PT/LAM-PTKes is required.

3. For international graduates, an equivalency statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Education (Kemendikbud) must be submitted in place of an accreditation certificate.
